Budapest Car Tour

Join us on an unforgettable journey to Budapest, often called the "Golden City of Europe" and known as the Pearl of the Danube. Budapest, Hungary's vibrant capital, offers a fascinating blend of culture, tradition, and history, making it one of Europe's most enchanting cities. The tour begins with visits to Budapest's most iconic landmarks. We’ll marvel at the impressive Hungarian Parliament Building, one of the largest in Europe, completed in 1904. This Gothic Revival masterpiece stretches along the Danube and houses Hungary’s Holy Crown of St. Stephen. Next, we’ll cross the historic Chain Bridge, Budapest’s first permanent bridge over the Danube, completed in 1849 and a symbol of the city’s unity. The bridge connects Buda and Pest, the two parts of the city divided by the river. From there, we head to Castle Hill, the historical heart of Budapest. Here, we explore Fisherman’s Bastion, a neo-Romanesque structure offering panoramic views of the Danube and the Pest side. We’ll also visit the stunning Matthias Church, a 13th-century Gothic treasure that played a key role in Hungary’s royal history, including the coronation of King Franz Joseph I. Our journey continues to Heroes' Square (Hősök tere), an iconic landmark honoring Hungary’s national leaders and warriors. This impressive square, built in 1896 to celebrate Hungary’s millennium, features statues of the country’s founding leaders and the Millennium Monument, topped by the Archangel Gabriel. We’ll then enjoy a relaxing stop at Margaret Island, a peaceful oasis in the middle of the Danube, known for its lush gardens, medieval ruins, and thermal baths. The tour also includes a visit to St. Stephen’s Basilica, one of Hungary's most significant religious buildings, which houses the mummified right hand of St. Stephen, Hungary’s first king. Finally, we’ll dine in a traditional Hungarian restaurant, savoring authentic dishes such as goulash, paprikash, and traditional desserts like dobos torte, while enjoying the warmth of Hungarian hospitality. Budapest’s rich history, captivating architecture, and vibrant culture make this tour a perfect way to explore one of Europe’s most dazzling capitals.
