The Panorama of the Battle of Racławice in Wrocław presents a monumental 19th-century painting depicting the historic Battle of Racławice, surrounding the viewer on all sides. Housed in a specially built rotunda, the artwork uses lighting, perspective, and 360-degree composition to create an immersive experience. It commemorates the 1794 uprising led by Tadeusz Kościuszko and the Polish forces’ dramatic triumph. The painting is one of the few surviving examples of cycloramic art and stands as a unique blend of artistry and history. Today, it is considered one of Wrocław’s most visited and symbolic cultural landmarks, offering visitors a journey through national pride and memory.
