Starting from Vienna we take 1 hour train trip to Krems, where we will set off on a flat path that winds its way through the stunning Wachau Valley. Along the way, we will make stops at local wineries and indulge in the region’s renowned wine while learning about the area’s fascinating history.
With the wind in your hair and the sun on your face, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to snap photos of the stunning scenery, including the picturesque vineyards and quaint villages that dot the landscape. And who knows, you might even make some new friends along the way!
At lunchtime, we will take a break to recharge and savor some local delicacies, including fresh produce and regional specialties. Then, after a day filled with adventure and discovery, we will head back and return to Vienna by train, with memories that will last a lifetime.

How our day itinerary looks
We’ll start our adventure by meeting at our office, where we will travel together by train to the picturesque town of Krems. Once we arrive, we’ll hop on our bikes and set off on a scenic ride to the charming village of Durnstein. Here, we’ll indulge in our first wine tasting and take the opportunity to explore the ancient medieval ruins of Durnstein Castle, which sits atop a hill overlooking the town. After soaking up the sights and flavors of Durnstein, we’ll continue our journey with a ride to Weissenkirchen. Here, we’ll stop at a local family-owned wine tavern for a second wine tasting, where we’ll savor the tastes of some of the finest wines the region has to offer.(Optional) For those who want to experience local cuisine, we can stop for lunch at a traditional restaurant. Afterward, we’ll continue our adventure by biking back to Krems, where we can enjoy a possible third wine tasting or take a refreshing swim in the Danube, if weather permits. As the day draws to a close, we’ll return to Krems and take the train back to Vienna, reflecting on the unforgettable memories we’ve made along the way. What you should bring on the tour:
